We love photographing wedding in the centre of Leeds. In fact, if all we ever did was photograph weddings right here in the centre of the city, we’d be more than happy.

Many people choose to tie the knot at the Registry office in the Town Hall.

Externally, this is one of the most spectacular buildings in the city and one of the best Town Halls in the country. Those ten Corinthian columns outside the main entrance always provide the most wonderful setting for formal photographs with year round perfect light.

There are many hotels in the centre which provide great locations both inside and out…

• The Radisson SAS with it’s ‘secret’ internal atrium and contemporary furnishings, a short and picturesque walk from the Town Hall.
• Quebecs, a little known but excellent upmarket, boudoir Hotel.
• Queens, Victorian splendour at it’s best, right next to the station and opposite the old post office fountains.
• 42 The Calls, right on the river Aire
• The Marriot Hotel, the biggest, with some wonderful internal features and a fabulously picturesque restaurant and bar area.

Then of course, there’s The Hilton, The Doubletree at Granary Wharf, The Park Plaza opposite the station and the New Ellington, a beautiful boutique hotel.

The walks around Leeds are also fabulous for uniqely individual wedding photography. We always suggest to our couples that they give us an hour out of their day to walk around the city with a group of friends. It’s fun and memorable for all concerned and the backdrops create amazing pictures.
